By one of the leading companies in the area of paging and voice mail systems, Drosthagen was called in to investigate the way in which LAN technology was used within the supplied voice mail systems. An investigation was conducted at one of the largest consumers. Furthermore investigation was undertaken in a laboratory environment so that standard behavior of the voice mail system was established. The advice as a result of the investigation by Drosthagen was implemented.

For an internationally operating Chipcard company, under the supervision of Drosthagen, the infrastructure of the back office is redesigned and adapted. In a project, lasting more than 6 months, the infrastructure was made ready for the expected growth in the use of the chipcard. The project knew its challenges in the tight budgeting and planning management en in the demand that the implementation would take place with no inconvenience for production. In a next project this back office was extended with new applications and existing applications were adapted to facilitate the offer of home services based on the chipcard.
