Telecommunication
For one of the largest telecom suppliers in the Netherlands, during a period that one of its subcontractors went bankrupt, Drosthagen has by means of managing the activities, taken care of the guarantee of continuity of the consumers. During this period, Drosthagen took charge of all the aspects that could in some way influence the guarantee of continuity, among which: contract management for alternative suppliers, sales to redefine existing contract and managing the judicial department as support in this process.
Bank 1
A nationally operating bank has asked Drosthagen to fulfill the role of project manager in the renewal of its IP network infrastructure. With more than 1800 locations and 3000 ATM machines the network is the basis for almost the whole banking service. A careful pre-selection and tender have led to a progressive choice for a network of the newest generation. The project manager manages a project organization of about 100 project employees, divided among the own organization and suppliers, who provide all locations of a new infrastructure within 12 months.
Bank 2
For an internationally operating bank Drosthagen was asked to realize Teleworking. By means of a project based approach, streamlining the coordination of the integral services from out of the five main departments of the ICT-organization to the customer organizations within the banking institutions was worked on. Drosthagen has supported the coordination between the several already started up projects on the customer’s organization side, taking into account the different initiatives, the differing functional specifications and the ability to identify with the organization.
System integrator 1
For one of the largest ICT-suppliers in the Netherlands, Drosthagen has been asked to adept the infrastructure (LAN/WAN) for supporting the company-wide implementation of ERP at one of its customers, with emphasis on the availability and capacity. With Drosthagen in the role of project manager, the ICT-supplier was responsible for the implementation of the diverse activities, among which worldwide implementation of ERP, uniform ICT-realization and integral operational management, including nationals management and distributed back-up.
System integrator 2
For a multinational in the area of Chemicals, Fibers and Coatings, that had recently started outsourcing its automation activities, Drosthagen was asked to fulfill the role of Program manager. With the program the supplied service level for the consumers was heightened at equal integral automation costs. The effectiveness and efficiency of the current processed was therefore analyzed and optimized for 6 locations divided over the Nederland’s and Germany. By standardization of working places, for both office automation as well as process automation, setting up a call center, centralization of the activities and adapting procedures this goal was achieved.
Government
For a leading global system integrator Drosthagen had fulfilled the realization and implementation of services with a large container consigner in the role of Theatre Project Manager Europe. Based on an asses inventory, the current infrastructure was made millennium stable, new, on Oracle based applications were introduced and a standardization was carried out on system- and desktop level. As part of this project the consigner has decided to consolidate, and placed its central service centre for the EMEA countries in Ireland.
Chemicals
At a national department Drosthagen was asked to increase the service level of the exploitation and the management of the ICT-infrastructure, by means of the employment of the ITIL-concept. By supporting these processes a new information system was implemented. While being responsible for the coordination and implementation, in close cooperation with the ministry a careful phasing was worked out, in which the connection of this information systems to the operational processes and the quality system needed to be guaranteed.
